JOB SUMMARY:

To assist the Marketing Division in the coordination and execution of group outings, sampling, and special events at all Six Flags Atlanta Properties (Six Flags Over Georgia, Hurricane Harbor Atlanta & Six Flags White Water).

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

• Assist with the coordination of group outings with regards to special requests, games, signage, and guest performances;
• Assist all departments within the Marketing Division with various events and activities;
• Other projects assigned by seasonal Marketing management or any member of the Full-Time Marketing Team
• All duties as assigned.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

• Reports directly to the Marketing & Events management team
• Department: Operations - Events & Execution

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be at least 17 years of age.
• Have a valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Possess above-average communication skills and communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• React well in stressful situations;
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
• Be safety conscious, while also outgoing with a friendly demeanor.
• Professional attitude, frequent interaction with guests and clients;
• Displays a sense of urgency

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Continued sitting, standing, and bending
• Stand/walk for a number of consecutive hours; walk several miles per day over various surfaces
• Lift and carry 25-50 lbs. over 25 feet over various surfaces; lift and lower 5 lbs. above shoulder level

POSITION(S) AVAILABLE

• Spring/Fall: 10-20 hours weekly, Weekends only; Summer: 20-30+ hours weekly, Monday – Sunday, Varied shifts, Part-time Hourly
• Work Range: February 2021 – December 2021 with advancement potential
